Kongsberg Satellite Services (KSAT) has signed an agreement with LatConnect 60 to provide Integrated Mission Services for LC60’s SWIRSAT Earth Observation constellation. Announced at IAC 2025 in Sydney, the partnership—backed by the Australian Space Agency and WA Government—highlights Western Australia’s growing role in space innovation.

ThinKom and KSAT have partnered to develop a next-generation Ka-band ground station, combining ThinKom’s phased array technology with KSAT’s global network expertise. The solution enables multi-beam, multi-orbit, multi-constellation connectivity with high bandwidth and efficiency. Initial testing, in collaboration with NOAA’s JPSS program, marks a step toward scalable, reconfigurable gateway technology.
