Spanish partner Aicox Solutions renews Ovzon’s SATCOM-as-a-service plus package

Ovzon’s Spanish partner Aicox Solutions has placed an order with Ovzon to renew its SATCOM-as-a-Service. The first half of 2024 will mostly see the implementation of the six-month extension.

The order is for Ovzon’s SATCOM-as-a-Service Plus package, which is a fully integrated solution that comes with T6 mobile satellite terminals, satellite bandwidth, and committed customer support from Ovzon. The order is for a demanding end-user that began utilizing Ovzon’s services in January 2023 and is part of the Civil Defence sector.

“We are thrilled to have been granted this initial renewal in Spain. In order to maintain our current customer base in Europe, this order is a critical first step. Per Norén, CEO of Ovzon, states, “We are going to keep working closely with our partners to satisfy our customers’ high expectations and showcase the distinctive value of Ovzon’s SATCOM-as-a-Service, which will soon be further strengthened when our first own satellite, Ovzon 3, gets into service by mid-year 2024.”
