Raytheon Secures $536M Deal to Power U.S. Navy Ships with Next-Gen SPY-6 Radars”Raytheon Technologies (RTX) has been awarded a $536 million contract by the U.S. Navy to produce the SPY-6 family of radars, an advanced radar system designed to enhance the Navy’s detection and tracking capabilities across multiple platforms.
The SPY-6 radar family represents a significant leap forward in naval radar technology, offering improved sensitivity, greater range, and enhanced target discrimination to protect warships from modern threats including ballistic missiles and advanced aircraft.
