About the guest speaker:

Rania Toukebri is a satellite and launcher systems architect and Senior team leader. Among her projects include: Jupiter Icy Moons Satellite, Lunar Gateway (Artemis), Hera for the AIM project’s first planetary defense exercise, Galileo second generation, and Lunar Gateway.

She is also involved in neuro-based space systems for lunar missions with the University of Lubeck, developing a new generation of onboard computers.

Providing expertise in space security, she has been requested as an external expert by the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA), the African Union, NATO, United Nations Office for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR). She is a mentor for the space4women program initiated by the UNOOSA.
