A group of international sports channels from FAST (Free Advertising Supported TV) platforms are being brought together via satellite to viewers in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa (EMENA) by Eutelsat Group and MuxIP, the leaders in next-generation media SaaS technologies for ad-supported streaming.

MuxIP is launching its first FAST channels free-to-air across EMENA on Eutelsat’s HOTBIRD satellites. The initial lineup includes World Poker Tour, Cricket Gold, and Outdoor Channel, offering international poker events, classic cricket action, and outdoor lifestyle content.

In the US, Canada, Australia, India, and other countries, the channels are currently available on FAST platforms. Versions tailored for European consumers will now be available in the UK, continental Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa thanks to this agreement.

Laurence Delpy, President of Eutelsat’s Video Business Unit, praised the collaboration with MuxIP for expanding global sports TV channel distribution via satellite, reaching new audiences beyond terrestrial networks. Frank Brown, MD International at MuxIP, highlighted the powerful combination of FAST industry growth and satellite reach, benefiting audiences and advertisers in the EMENA regions.
