Collins Aerospace, a key business unit of RTX (NYSE: RTX), has successfully showcased groundbreaking technology that revolutionizes battlefield decision-making for the U.S. Marine Corps. During the high-profile Project Convergence Capstone 5 military exercise, Collins delivered seamless integration of military and commercial sensor data, providing Marines with real-time, secure situational awareness like never before.

By merging data from diverse sources — including airborne, shipborne, military, and commercial sensors — Collins Aerospace created a comprehensive, unified operational picture. This critical information was streamed directly to the Landing Force Operations Center, the nerve center for coordinating amphibious assaults, empowering commanders with instant clarity and control.

“Modern battlefields are fast-moving and complex,” said Elaine Bitonti, Vice President and General Manager of Connected Battlespace & Emerging Capabilities at Collins Aerospace. “At PCC5, we integrated multiple platforms to equip Marine commanders with the clear, reliable data they need to make split-second decisions — all while keeping communications secure and resilient.”

This innovation not only accelerates decision-making but also strengthens protection for U.S. forces by complicating enemy tracking efforts. The result? Safer, smarter, and more effective military operations across land, air, and sea.

Collins Aerospace continues to push the boundaries of defense technology by advancing systems that collect, aggregate, and share mission-critical data instantly. These advancements ensure joint force commanders can act decisively with precision, whether maneuvering troops or deploying weapons.
