Golden Arrow Resources Corporation is pleased to announce that it has achieved a significant permitting milestone for the San Pietro Copper-Gold Project in the Atacama Region of Chile. Following an extensive, year-long process, the Chilean environmental authorities have issued an Environmental Qualification Resolution (RCA – Resolución de Calificación Ambiental). This critical resolution includes several necessary authorizations and, most importantly, grants approval for an additional 80 drilling platforms, primarily located in the area of the Rincones and Colla deposits. Each platform provides a site for executing one or more drill holes, giving the Company substantial scope for the next phase of detailed drilling intended to upgrade and expand the existing resources.

Brian McEwen, Golden Arrow VP Exploration and Development, stated, "We are pleased to have reached this milestone, which proceeded very smoothly thanks to our professional team in Chile. This approval allows us to complete the crucial infill drilling program at Rincones and Colla to both upgrade the resource category and potentially increase the average grades of copper and gold mineralization."
McEwen added, "The next program will also include step-out drilling to test for extensions to mineralization, both between the deposits and in several directions that remain open. In addition to these large-scale programs planned for our existing deposits, we are working to advance our exciting new gold exploration targets, such as Noemi and Cerro Sur, to be ready for drill testing in the new year."
The environmental assessment process for the requested areas was conducted by an independent consulting group, Ambiental y Sectorial SpA (the "Consultants"). Their work included comprehensive baseline studies focused on ecosystem protection, groundwater monitoring, and archaeological surveys, as well as outreach and interviews with local communities. This work was compiled and submitted as an Environmental Impact Declaration (Declaración de Impacto Ambiental; "DIA") to the relevant authorities in the Atacama Region. The successful evaluation process concluded with the issuance of the RCA on November 6, 2025, which authorizes the requested work and establishes environmental obligations, including permits related to waste management, sewage works, and closure.
Golden Arrow has achieved a critical permitting milestone for its San Pietro Copper-Gold Project in Chile, receiving the Environmental Qualification Resolution (RCA). This green light authorizes 80 new drilling platforms, paving the way for a major infill and step-out drilling campaign to upgrade and expand the Rincones and Colla copper-gold resources.
