A new strategic collaboration between Bedrock and Eluvio was revealed ahead of IBC 2024. The deal aims to provide broadcasters and entertainment firms in Europe with cutting-edge streaming video technology that is supported by the Eluvio Content Fabric. Bedrock and Eluvio Content Fabric will work together to unlock the pinnacle of broadcast streaming innovation, which includes tamper-proof content, end-to-end analytics, AI discovery, and ultra-low-latency, secure, and affordable video streaming at scale for live and on-demand monetization.

Bedrock, a joint venture by M6 and RTL Group, operates streaming platforms for top media companies, serving over 45 million users across Europe with AVOD, SVOD, and hybrid models. Eluvio’s Content Fabric is a next-gen protocol for efficient, secure content distribution and monetization, used by major companies like Amazon Studios and UEFA. It reduces bandwidth, storage, costs, and carbon footprint by replacing traditional clouds and CDNs, while enabling personalized experiences and enhanced content security. The protocol operates on a decentralized global network, with tools like Creator Studio and AI Content Understanding.

“At Bedrock, we are dedicated to continuously innovating to elevate the streaming experiences for our media and entertainment customers across Europe, and that’s the driving force behind our new strategic collaboration with Eluvio,” said Jonas Engwall, CEO of Bedrock. “By combining Bedrock’s extensive reach and deep expertise with Eluvio’s next-gen capabilities, we hope to establish a new benchmark for how our customers can efficiently manage, deliver, and monetize premium video content to their audiences.”
