Akima secures $2 Billion agreement with NAVFAC Pacific for global contingency services

The largest provider of goods and services to the federal government, Akima announced today that the US Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Pacific has given a joint venture between its subsidiary, Akima Support Operations, and the infrastructure consulting firm AECOM, a spot on the Global Contingency Services Multiple Award Contract (GCSMAC). If all options are exercised, the indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract has a potential 8.5-year performance duration and a $2 billion total contract value.
